It doesn't fit the narrative.

Boston? LOL
Chicago? Pau got hurt. Series over.
Atlanta? Half the squad on IR or hobbled.

But hey, Golden State had it easy!
The eastern conference was a joke. How the hell didn't the Bulls win ?

it's not even the entire story of just putting Iggy in the starting line-up, the bigger story was taking Bogut out and limiting or cutting all his minutes. Bogut was useless, and a liability in the first 3 games. He was getting out played by Mozgov and killed in the pick and roll.

i am not knocking Iggy but you don't give the Finals MVP to a role player. he did great in limiting lebron and knocking down open shots but the entire GSW offense is revolved on Curry making the right play.

So Kawhi shouldn't have gotten it last year? He wasn't Timmy, Tony, or Manu.

Curry's offensive load or role was way bigger than Timmy's, Tony's or Manu's. Kawhi averaged the almost same amount of points as Tony, the Spur's leading scorer

Bruh, your squad just won a ring and you in here worried about who the MVP should've went too :{ :lol

Here go Stephen A saying gsw had this easy path to the finals. Saying the pelicans weren't ready... ***** Boston didn't even belong there, bulls=grizz minus Conley and atl were who we thought they were. I can't see how gsw had a easier path than cle.

PATHETIC, but not even surprised coming from him.

Pardon my ignorance or stupidity, but did the voters not give Steph votes so they didn't split and then Lebron would take it even though GS got more total votes for an MVP?

Lebby annoying af. The whole 'back to your normal lives' speech. The decision. Self-appointed king. "I'm the best in the world."

Bron is an all time great. He is an athletic FREAK. When he is on it, it's curtains for other teams.

I really wish there were more people who could realize the truth of both of the bolded statements.

A few people acknowledge the second bolded statement, but never acknowledge flaws, and make 'gassed up' statements.

And TONNNNNS of you rush to agree with the first bolded statement, but take it entirely too far.

Takes all the fun out of discussion.

Voting was
Iggy - 7
LeBron - 4
Curry - 0

I mean if they gave 3 to Curry, Iggy gets 4 votes and ties LeBron.

If they give Curry 4, he ties LeBron.

I don't think they wanted a tie between the Winner & Loser.

Steven A says Lebron is 2-2 and not 2-4 and stupid people like me won't do the research in why he lost the other two which he shouldn't get blamed for

Really? how so? SA needed Timmy's post dominance, TP's facilitating, and Manu's wing presence. There's no doubt that Steph played a big role for his team but he also disappeared for 2 games. When you're considered top tier, you're expected to show up, night in and night out. Iverson played w/ broken ligaments. Jordan had a stomach virus. You show up because your team needs you. SA needed Manu in the 12-13 finals but he disappeared and they paid for it.

Without Iggy guarding Bron the way he was, GS doesn't win. Now if that's not valuable, I don't know what is
