MJ is a jerk and a scumbag w/o a doubt. He's arrogant but he backed it up. It's one thing to say you're the best athlete in the world and prove it and another to say it, have it disproven then throw your squad under the bus. MJ had a killer instinct and wanted to be the best which made him the way he was. Lebron is arrogant and behaves the way he does because the media makes him think that he is a king and the king don't like when he's criticized.


Crazy how the league was thirsting for that fairy tale season though, noticed they played the whole Lebron story collage like Kanye's "Through the Wire" while his team was on the brink of losing the finals. Had to put that up since somebody went through all the trouble of making it. Felt so out of place to watch it while they're down at home about to lose.

I found this series difficult to watch, it was so unevenly matched when Kyre when down with injury it was like watching the outnumbered Lion getting ravaged by a bunch of hyenas.
Dellavedova had his Lin moment but that was never gonna last, it made for a good news story and the NBA was selling it as if the series was evenly matched but this was always going to end badly, to me the only decent evenly matched playoff series was the Spurs – Clippers this IMO was the 2 best teams in the NBA going at it game after game, so many good matchups and both teams gave everything.

Warriors had 1-2 “tough” games throughout the playoffs before getting to the finals which really set them up to be in prime condition. Cleveland on the other hand limped into the finals and with the best player in the world made a series of it but it just shows how much luck plays its part in winning the NBA finals.

I cant see a warrior dynasty from this, more like the 2004 pistons or the 2008 celtics nice achievement but its gonna be tough season next year when teams go at them each game of the regular season.

Impossible to know how he would've fared, but I do know that Jordan had that elusive 'it' factor with fans and media when it came to his image. People saw what they wanted to see. Not like those rumors weren't there in 96, but people went past it because when you like someone that's what you do. I think he would do fine in any generation of the media, just something he (along with a guy like Magic) was reaaaaaallllly good at

Comparing media then to now is a joke tho just the invasive nature of media and news now, society as a whole is just much different, athletes don't get nearly as much slack and it's not just Jordan, Michael Irvin wouldn't even be in today's NFL, Lawrence Taylor no way.

Let me remind you, this dude was the one that said not 1 not 2 not 3 not 4 etc etc and he was serious.
