Little did I know that Nipsey uses the same "flow" on pretty much every single song
. The spoken-word, pause-after-every-line style worked extremely well on Crenshaw & Slauson because the song didn't really have a beat per se, but that seems to be his general "style" which I find to be lazy to the point of irritation. His content mostly seems to consist of bland and overused gangsta rap cliches. It just seems like he doesn't try at all for the most part. I think he could be a great MC if he actually personalized his material more and made an effort with his flow, lyrics, and concepts (see "Face The World").
Does he have more material on this new tape or elsewhere that he actually makes an attempt at what might be considered a "flow" and goes beyond cookie-cutter gangsta content? I've only listened to the Crenshaw tape...
