leave the TAN here
idk because I feel like if you do report someone you should also own up to it. If someone says something that bad or bothersome there is a block option isn't there or am I tripping? Why would mods reveal who reports people it defeats the whole purpose of why they made it anonymous
I feel like from the way people are already "talking" about negs, seeing who reps, seeing who reports etc., that it's a recipe for disaster.
I like the rep system as is. It's a simple acknowledgment. I don't care to see who "reps" me.
Sometimes less is more.
It won't. This time, we'll actually have access to the complete user database. If you have a working account on NikeTalk today, it will be transferred to the new site.
Sweet. Hopefully my SN doesn't lost in this transition this time.
Absolutely not.
Will the banned accounts be revived?
There used to be a picture of the Yuku magician with a knife in his back, which would've been particularly appropriate here. I think that one might be lost to the ages, though, much like the value of platform itself. As long as this dude stays buried and dead...
You have my sword.
Depends on da procurement of the Jesus piece and da Hemi "B". The more important question is will da musket make it to the new platform ?What does Ninjahood think about da migration?

this.
i personally like the anonymity of the rep system here. When you don't know who appreciates something you post, its kind of like a feeling of "it could be anyone" so its like the community appreciates it rather than "this person"
i feel like it it could created cliques somehow. like if two people where in an argument for whatever reason and someone repped one sides reply.
or say there was an argument about religion or politics, and someone who hardly posts reps one side of an argument..they will be known for that.
i do understand the reasoning behind it for weeding out trolls tho. like if someone reps an ignorant or racist statement. ...but if I'm correct, the mods can see who reps who so they could just put them on blast.
either way though I'm all for the new direction and whatever changes may be.
Definitely +1 for reps remaining anonymous.
Will we be able to change our screen names?

Full mobile support can mean different things to different people. When I say full mobile support, does this mean an app will be coming soon?
Wifey said to me the other day that she's surprised there hasn't been an app developed yet and I was just like *kanye shrug*
To be honest, I don't use email notifications, either. I can't, to be honest, because of the way the system was designed. As someone with site owner/admin access, my inbox would be flooded with notifications for user reports, etc. if I enabled email subscriptions. The mention notifications sounds great. I don't have email notifications set up so I find it hard to see where im mentioned
But seeing who gets up voted is a game changer
Good stuff meth
It won't be identical, but it will be familiar. There will be some changes to the layout, but it shouldn't be anything terribly dramatic. The classic forum display should remain very much intact and true to what we've always had.
Hey Meth, will the website format change or will it look similar to what he have now with new additions?
Statistically, the vast majority of apps are never used more than once or twice. (If they're downloaded at all.) We would never prioritize an app ahead of the primary site itself. Making sure that experience is the best it can be for all users across all devices is a top priority.
I don't really think an app is necessary, as long as they mobile version is as good as this platforms. I prefer to do everything in my browser and use multiple windows regularly, and not use apps.
There actually is a way to do that now - but only for desktop users. (This is a recurring theme.)
I would like a better way to keep track of the threads I post in. It would be nice to have the ability to delete the threads you no longer post in under your profile to keep track of the threads you regularly post in. The unsubscribe option doesn't do much for me.
If we're to grow and improve, we need to ability to try new things. With changes of this nature, there's often a status quo bias.Since more than a few people seem to feel like this, perhaps we should vote on it as a community?Definitely +1 for reps remaining anonymous.
if you use the my subscriptions function and unsubscribe the threads shouldnt show anymore.I would like a better way to keep track of the threads I post in.
