I want everyone's opinion from a shoe collector's point of view, not from a Jordan point of view.
I am a die hard jordan collector, but i just want to know what you guys think about what I am about to say:
I know Penny only had 4 legitimate shoes. Jordan has 23. But do you think the Penny legacy would've have been remembered
more if Penny wasnt injury prone so much? I mean come on people, the Penny's were very underrated in my view. What if
the Penny Line would've come out with 23 pairs of Penny's instead of 4. Do you think it would've gave the Jordan Brand a run for its money?
From the first 4 pairs of Pennys that were made, that question lies up in the air. To me all the Pennys made are a very well thought out, creative shoe.
I remember when I was in 9th grade and Jordans and Pennys came out the same day (sorry I cant remember which ones, but if my mind serves me right
they were the 11s and the Penny 1s), the majority of my basketball teammates got the Pennys. Why? Im not sure, this is why I am posting this thread.
I have so much respect for Jordan and the shoes he has came out with for 2 decades. But if anyone would've gave him a run I think it would've been
Penny Hardaway, only if he stayed healthy and played to his potential so more Penny shoes wouldve came out. I don't think he would've topped Jordan,
thats why I said, "Give him a run for his money." I want to know if this forum is going to give me hell for posting another person's shoe in theforum, or are
we going to have some well thought out responses to my post. I know im going to get negative posts but I want to know. Foamposites or Space Jams,
Penny 2s or Olympic 7s? I actually had to get my mind out of the gutter because at one time i wouldnt even look at a shoe if it wasnt Jordan. But looking
at all of the Pennys I own and seeing the design and quality, hey Nike had a good thing going with the Penny shoes. Now Jordan is still going strong years
after his retirement so that obviously shows something, but i think its more to it than that. So What If people?????? Thanks in advance.
