Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite 2017

i dont know how sneakernews got 200 GBP to equal $275.

$250 makes more sense with the conversion.

im hoping ebates will still be at 15% when these are available.

:lol

That's good news, as long as it's no more than $250, I'm down [emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]127996[/emoji]

I was hoping for $175 for the 4% oh well...:{ maybe ill wait for other colorway.

i dont run but i like comfy shoes!

how much for the zoom fly?

Not telling you what to buy but I would check out the lunarepic for now at least until we hear more about this new cushioning they got coming. But the zoom fly will be $150 and its lunar based I believe.

Gonna wait for the white colourway at that price, as I'll probably only ever get 1 pair.

I don't think the 4% is going to be an ideal super comfy or super cushioned casual shoe.

That cf plate has got to make it less comfy than the alternatives.

Of course that is just a guess on my part but I do think it's a shoe that is really performance specific.

By the way, anyone here who ran a 5k on Sunday may have won a pair of the elites?

I ran. No word yesterday. Think there were millions of runners by the app count.

I ran as well, but didn't hear anything. I thought the contest is also happening on Sunday as well, so I'm guessing they'll pick one person from either of weekends.

yeah they are doing another one this Sunday and then picking 5 winners on the 17th

this past Sundays run, they were suppose to pick 10 winners yesterday

^ that's just how the new nikes are. Elite 9s, the upcoming flyknit mariahs, streak 6s, they crease really badly. These 4%s are performance shoes... not something you wear to prom.

yeah those creases on the midsoles perfectly fine as long it doesn't mean it cracks

if the performance is focus then how it looks afterwards shouldn't be the main concern

I'm just concerned of the Upper not holding up that long. Flymesh is really thin. I know people were having issues of rips and tears in the Zoom Streak 6.

I agree, I still think for $250 it should at least have a flyknit upper.

Or maybe even Flyweave which looks more like flymesh being more of a tight knit.

I agree, I still think for $250 it should at least have a flyknit upper.

The pricing is based upon the new midsole. i think Nike went with Flymesh on the upper as the Flymesh version of the Streak 6 sold much better thank the Flyknit. Also elite athletes haven't embraced Flyknit.

I know they are pricing it based on the new innovation but at the end of the day it's a $250 shoe that has a dated upper and apparently not as durable.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the flymesh version of the streak6 might have sold better because it is at a lower pricepoint but they are hitting the outlets either way so it's not like they are selling out.

I just think Nike could toss us a bone once in a while and not try to cutback on other parts of the shoes just because there's a new innovation in it.

I'm hoping to pick up a pair of the Zoom Fly on the 8th. The colorway is nice to me, but I wouldn't mind having that black pair up there too.
