I've been wearing these to ball for the past 2 months. These are the worst pair of Nike basketball shoes I've ever used.
The zoom cushioning in the forefoot is really cheap with little energy return, or comfort. My feet constantly feel fatigued in them. The arch support is too high, making it ache constantly. A problem I've absolutely never had before.
I love low tops, but these are too low ... with little stability control to protect the ankle. The lack of support was a direct cause for a muscle bruise on the interior of my right foot that continues to hurt to this day because there was no protection.
The tracktion is the worst I've ever had in a Nike shoe as well. The tred on the soles are poorly designed, and wears down way too quickly. The shoes are built so narrowly, there is virtually not enough surface area to move laterally.
This shoe is built like a running shoe disguised as a basketball shoe. Befitting as an unofficial signature shoe for a player like James Harden who just shoots 3's, or drives all the way to the rim for flops on offense, and a guy who willingly plays no defense. Lateral movement in these is atrocious. And in a game like basketball, specifically on the perimeter, where slashing, cutting, quick bursts laterally on offense and defense ... it's a necessity.
Run the One's are terrible. I'm sending these back to Nike.
