Nike Zoom Kobe V PROTRO - Dec 2019

At first the thought it was weird that out of nowhere DSG had these and then it came to me they recently bought FTL! Uh ha!!

CC is arguably the most popular athlete on the planet right now and this is (bizarrely) the first time Nike is releasing a shoe that’s even loosely associated with her. It shouldn’t be a surprise.
This. Nike knew exactly what it was doing with this release. This release was a pure hype machine. Limited stock intentional, limited locations intentional. Clark is Nike's next big thing (rightfully so, she's a baller), and so they needed this PE release to be one that has a halo type feel to it. These 5s were talked about all over media, not just sneaker related. Brought eyeballs to Nike, and they wanted to make sure Clark's first release looks like a halo/hype product on the secondary market.

I hate it. But I totally get it. They got a lot invested in Clark, she's a face of the brand right now.

"Caitlyn Clark's first Nikes sells out in seconds and is defying the current sneaker market by having high resale on secondary markets"

All true except they have barely anything invested in her relative to her actual value. I think she got like 25 mil over 10 years or something ridiculously low like that. She should easily be making that per year.

Real curious to see what happens when her actual sig releases.

Saw in FB group, got shirt & keychain at event.

Appreciate the confidence booster man! Manager was being super cool about the fcfs, but you could tell she had a REAL good bs/reseller detector. Was cool with me getting 2, but turned another dude down. Wouldn't necessarily call them "interviews" but she was definitely chatting it up with people to see how they were moving before she decided.
Yea she was real cool

IF anyone can get me a 12 or 13 in the CC Kobe V, im willing to pay retail plus shipping and throw in a 12 or 13 in the Kobe 8 grey or a 13 in the Kobe Air Force 1 FOR FREE!

snkrs pair arrived.. clean AF

Ok help me out here. According to Sports Illustrated, there were approximately 13,000 pairs of Caitlin Clark Kobe V PEs released. Yet, an online store shows over 11,000 pairs sold in the last 3 days. Either SI got bad intel from Nike, or the store numbers are bogus and/or selling fakes. Anyone care to weigh in on this?

Edit: another explanation occurred to me; could the number of sales graphic apply to cumulative units sold across all sku’s in their inventory??

What store is is this? I find it hard to believe that a random online store got 11k pairs and still have a size 13 sitting. Especially given how few retailers got them to begin with.

Bad info. My local DSG I picked up from said they got around 100 pairs. Safe to assume most DSGs got ~100 pairs.
