Also the size 14 from the 81 point release is slightly larger than the new release. Trying to break these new ones in. I'm a 15 in Protros so I have to wear my thin Nike socks with these and they are snug but they didn't make 15's in these so I'm stuck.

I disagree. The purple and gold on the 81 point pair are the same hue as Laker purple and gold.

See I was thinking the newer ones match the hue of the lakers jerseys better. The purple always had an almost blue tint to it. At least on TV anyway.

I have 3 pairs of blackouts now and all i really wanted was the undft la brea lol. All 3 pairs still came out for less than la brea resell though.

Also bought some 81 pts for 125-20%.
