Nice pics!! Question for you . Do only the colored pods have zoom? Is there zoom in the heel too?
I'm Not 100% certain but it feels like there could be as they are pretty responsive throughout. To me they almost feel like an old-school zoom shoe with a full length zoom unit (think Zoom Turf or Turf Jet, Zoom Flight 96).
Copping that turquoise color way. Does it feel low to the ground and stable? I use the free trainer 5.0 now and love it, hope these are as good.
They feel lower than that free 5.0 and less 'mushy' I thought they were pretty stable too. There are outriggers on each of the five pods which seems to add an extra bit of stability.
I trained in them last night for the first time and they were pretty awesome.
As i said before, you can sort of feel each pod on the bottom when walking and they are fairly soft under foot but responsive at the same time.
Comfort-wise, they are a snug fit at TTS. Toe box is fairly narrow so if you have wide feet it may be worth checking them out at half a size up (people could have the same issues as with the TR1 but it didn't seem quite that tight)
There's no movement in the shoe as long as you lace them up tight. I was running around for two hours and didnt notice any slipping or a need to re-tie them. I expect the fit will also get better after a few wears as the shoe conforms to the foot.
Insole is the same Fitsole you get on most other Nikes at the moment.
The tongue is the usual thin, split design; doesn't move about when working out which is nice.
Grip was immense; I was training on Astroturf so grip is going to be fairly decent with the little chevrons on the bottom on that surface. Expect it will be good on most other surfaces too.
Fast cuts/changes of direction were not a problem stability-wise.
Sprints felt great; mega bouncy like a zoom shoe should be.
Shoe is light; probably expected, but i did notice this.
Breath-ability seems good, although it was cold and quite damp so for those of you lucky enough to be somewhere warm things might be different!
That's just some initial thoughts after a two hour training session. I'll update with any further thoughts over the weeks, but they seem to be (to me anyway) a performance beast.
