Can someone talk me out of this? I am a sucker for ‘technical’ looking sneakers and apparel and that dyneema and magnetic straps are almost pushing me over to pay resale since it’s not extortionate compared to retail price... Don’t even think I’m going to wear them but I want them so bad...

I saw a guy wearing the overshoes on the train last year, they didn't look horrible on feet. However cutting the bag and the straps off looks less ridiculous imo

I like them and would like to have them as part of the collection. I don’t see myself ever wearing it though. It’s an interesting shoe but I wouldn’t say they’re “detailed”. Haha. It just looks like a bag with straps. What details are we talking about since most of us don't have them in hand?

How is the sizing on them? Could you size down?Man I’ve been hunting these down since I first saw the images of them, I paid a little over retail for them... and do I regret it after having them in hand. Not at all....

****, I caved in and bought them. I had some spare cash around and I am worried they might become unicorns in the next few years. Can’t wait to get them in, still no idea if I will wear them like this, cut the shroud or keep em as a centerpiece...

Been wearing them for close to 2 years now and they’ve aged like fine wine. From Cape Cod 4th July on the beach to NYC slush these things have seen it all and has been in constant weekly rotation. Cleaned them twice, with the last time being close to a year ago. These bad boys still got a lot of life in them and don’t plan on busting out a new pair anytime soon. Can’t wait to see pics of the Overshoe aged over time as well!
