You shouldn't have used PayPal's exchange rate. Not sure they're taxing--it's literally the Japanese retail price plus shipping.

That's right. I have BofA, but it's a specific CC with no forex fees. I highly recommend that anyone who normally travels internationally get a card without forex fees.

It says “Per person can submit application per colorway”
The wording is strange but I assume it means one entry per person per colorway. You should be straight entering for both.

Price is Japanese MSRP plus shipping. Came out to like $236 for me after the currency conversion.
