They fit exactly the same for me, just a little more tough to get on and off. I had the bones in my usual Nike size and they were just barely too big, sized down and they're just about perfect. They're more annoying to get off in comparison but the fit is worth it.

Sails are a good alternative during warm weather. The bones are winter only due to the materials
I own FoG1's (OG, sails) and SA's (bone) and I totally see myself wearing them even in more than 5 years. I think the silhouette will age well specially in those colors.

Not so much "out of style" as it is hype. For those of us who wear what we like, wearing these 5 years from now wont be an issue. The only ones who will have an issue wearing these years down the road are those who follow hype and need assurance that what they are wearing is "cool."
