If Nike does retro them at a good quality, this guy is worthless.

That first photo is obviously a OG or retro... you sorta get your hopes up. then you scroll down..

I had the white/gray retros many years back. Bought them for a vacation so that i'd have some mostly white kicks to wear, and ended up in a pick-upbasketball game the 2nd day on the trip. These were really comfy to hoop in to me. I'll have to get these just to see if the comfort is the same. We allknow nike is gonna mess it up somewhere, but i'm just getting them because i like the style and hopefully comfort of the shoe.

I really don't understand why they keep messing with us when they retro this colorway. They've done a black or black/grey SC trainer I don't knowhow many times and they never do it like the ones above or like the very first retro of them. Such a shame, cause it seems so friggin simple. Make the soleblack near the toe, make the side panel grey a darker, kind of charcoal grey, etc.... They really are just being cheap. Definite pass on these if that'sthe way they come out.

YES THATS THE SAME RETRO MODEL.

add some contrast from the upper mudguard GREY, compared to the midsole grey. add a plastic like og overlay to the side straps...Change the lacelock color toalmost black, and youre set.. I didnt even mess with the toebox or sides being a perf. leather.. that would be fine by me.

the color balance that defined these NIKE shoes is being lost here.

As one nike employee put it so nicely months ago, its a manufacturor material/color issue. ie, NIKE is too cheap and greedy to get it just right. effort levelis near ZERO in my eyes
