For $800 I'd have to be able to get the 360 air unit from the sample AF1 97s and use real Croc/Gator or Ostrich skin. I hate that faux exotic skin stuffthey use. That would be the only way I can justify that cost.

real nice. i would just make something so simple that it wouldnt be worth the money. like a GR model from 1998 that hasnt been redone yet. so simple yet so faraway in nikes retro mind.. for that amount of money though, I would definetly have a true need to go all out.

metalic leather, patent and looks like tumbled leather swoosh

another kind of lizard and denim or canvas

this one's not too bad. i like the toning w/ the lizard skin thrown in...and clear sole

i'd hate to shell out $800-$2000 for a pair then have someone with deep pockets and no creativity or imagination just come and copycat my design justbecause they liked it and wanted it.

didn't 255 sell some of the designs that customers made? i remember hearing about the best of 255 or something like that...

to make a sneaker from the ground up and only ill have them..

i can wait...my appt is 12/23..

and hopefully they come out with some other kicks to do also, hopefully some Hi's , 90's , dunk Hi's , 95's.. ill be their for those also

With the economy the way it is, do they really expect a lot of business. I would love to create some...it would be great if they were to start to offer 95sor do a colab with Jordan and offer some IIIs, IVs, Vs, VIs or XIs.

Even if they did, still too pricey...great concept though, but what will they do after all the stars came through and copped?

I like that quote. if u really try hard and sacrifice some things you can save up about $800 for these shows, but lets be real.....you're gonna makesomething that'll cost atleast $1400. 99.9% of the people are not going to create the bare minimum. i'm sorry but I can't spend that much on a shoeright now and then not even spend close to half of that amount on presents for the family this holiday season. now you can sell some of your sneakers to payfor ur custom shoe, but they would have to be the shoes with a lot of value (which in most cases, are people's favorites in their collection). and for theamount of money you're shelling out....this better not turn out like 255. where people are basically paying for their "invitations", and/orpeople are creating dozens of customs at a time to just resell them.

amzazing as it may be to some, i still know it's wack. i've seen several colored reflective materials done on shoes; some are good and some arewack...and that is (will be) wack.

$800 is crazy, but it clearly isn't for everyone.

$800 is alot for a pair of forces no mater what the concept may be. Even though id pay about 750 for those teal elephant print joints.
