While I agree, there are a lot of times where people just say any lowtop is Kobe, are y'all telling me you don't see none of this in the upper of the Sabrina 3?

Also, let's be objective for a minute. The Kobes 4-8 are the most worn sneakers by players in the last 10 years that don't have their own sigs or signed to another brand. Specifically, the 5 and the 6s. It makes sense that when they have their own model, they would mimic the shoe they've been wearing since their AAU days.

Yeah, I thought Sabrina’s shoes niche was to be Diet-Kobe’s. Makes me wonder what price point CC’s will be considering these and A’jas are already entry level. I assume CC will get better tech for a higher price point?

So, a couple things

Traction lookin downright 270ish right there. I'm OUT out if they did that lebron 19 mess where the heel traction that actually hits the ground is a u-shape.

And secondly

What's with the bumpy swoosh stuff? Just looks like something to peel off over time. May not end up being an issue but just a weird choice there.

I really really hope Nike isn't limiting one shoe vs another shoe based on the athlete being a woman. Like, Ja's price doesn't have anything to do with it? Zion's? Giannis'? KD? To me, each athlete has chosen to either make prices low 'for the kids' or go for something higher end if they were that caliber of athlete. I don't think, or really hope not, that the negotiations are "Well here are the other women who have signature shoes with us, we can only do so much for you, because of what we've done for them." Sabrina got NBY on both her first signatures. Giannis only got that on the Freak 1. Ja didn't get it at all. Zion didn't get it. KD got it on what, the 14s and 16s? Doesn't look like A'ja is getting it.

What does any of that have to do with any of the rest of it? I think it's like those "here's 25 cents, make a starting 5" things you get. And Michael cost 10 cents and Ron Harper costs 2 cents and Shaq costs 7 cents, etc. And each athlete gets to pick whether they want costs to be lower with cheaper materials but wider distribution and stock, etc, whatever the calculus is, and each athlete probably gets their own starting money figure. And while I'm sure they try to avoid 'stepping on toes' with other releases of their signature athletes but also other retro releases, I can't imagine they go "sorry, your shoe has to be priced here, because there's a woman athlete we've signed whose shoe is priced here", whether directly or obliquely. I mean anything's possible in business but man would that be ******* ridiculous.

She’s at least top 10 athlete of this era. Her Kobe PE just sold out. I don’t think Nike will handle this like just another sig
