Just when I thought I was done, they pull me back in with the UNDFTD options. I went with black laces but wish I could grab the extra jade and orange too.

I always grab the colored laces on NBY since it’s easier to find black laces. But yeah, feels like Nike is leaving money on the table by not offering an extra pair of laces as an option. Could easily charge $5 for them and I’m sure some people would pay it.

That was my thinking for the pink and black and hot punch pairs - because where am I going to find the right shade of pink and punch elsewhere - but for the UNDFTD-inspired pair, something about going with contrasting laces off the bat just felt better than getting the jade laces.

Back in NYC. Was able to try on a 12W at Snipes by Barclays and didn't feel that much pain. So yea staying with my S1 size of 12.5

Speaking of NBY, I thought I wasn’t going to order any at one point. However after playing with the options more (AND presuming that my first designs turn out well), it’s looking like five or maybe six now

Played in my conductors yesterday morning for about 2 hours. Color way is fire in person.

Initial review is they feel a bit lighter and quicker on court. The cushlon breaks in pretty quick right away too as I felt more bouncy about an hour in.

They’re more narrow for me but I like the snug fit as I don’t have a wide foot so I still went TTS. Playing again in them Wednesday night so hopefully they break more but overall def enjoyed them just like the 1s after the first wear.

My 76ers pair has been in shipping purgatory since Friday too so I just whipped up some Knicks CW’s since I play in a lot of Knicks shorts often.

Wish they had royal soles as an option but whatever. Time to retire the KD Napheesa’s into casuals now.
