Just got the black and white pair and took the laces completely out. Shoe feels the same with or without them zipped up.

I got my perfect size. They fit snug enough where it’s lockdown and when I zip them up it’s extra secure.When I tied them it felt like the laces didn’t have any functionality, planning to use them for beaters without the laces.
