Reminds me of the KD 11 achilles slicer. I even made a makeshift achilles guard out of duct tape to put under my sock but eventually said f it, this isn't worth it.

Not sure how loud the noise got but I do remember some complaints about the tongue in the 17’s... I thought they were stiff but still got used to them pretty quickly. I’ll make sure to buy directly from Nike so if I have ant issues I can just return em

It’s all subjective. Most smaller hoopers fell in love with the “ground feel” shoes. Those don’t work for me but it’s cool to see multiple perspectives
