I think the rounded outsole makes you feel "bouncy" more so the cushioning. Feels lighter than the 2s. To be honest I don't feel the heel zoom all that much. The forefoot is dead but the court feel will be great.

Oh yeah the KI logo and the medial Swoosh are 3M reflective. I love the brushed nickel big Swoosh.

The laces are a bit long and you can't tuck it under the strap like on the 2 is what I miss. Gonna find shorter laces.

Don't think it'll encounter any problems on court. Casual wear is great so this shoe has on/off-court appeal.

@thapointguy I usually tuck my laces on the sides of the tongue if they're too long. Is the medial swoosh reflective or just metallic?



Excited to try these out, it's going to be a long week wait. I loved the 1s once the midfoot was broken in and the 2s were nice even with zero cushioning. Samurais were neat but IMO the Black Ices are infinitely more wearable.

Yeah pretty sure it's reflective I saw it with flash. The lateral is brushed nickel which is good and not cheap like past year Kobes

man i was ready to go cop these day 1 today. went into FTL and tried on my size 11 and wow they were stiff. i had to loosen the laces all the way down just to get in it. im a 10 in length but a bit wider and have to go up to a 11. I had to try a 11.5 in these before the width felt alright, but then i had way too much toe room. i hesitantly decided to not get them. will def go back if i hear stories of them breaking in quick.

Yeah they were incredibly stiff for me too. Going tomorrow to see how they feel on court. Hopefully they break in nice

Calling HoH tomorrow. Kinda irritated I didn't get the Samurai's even though I ordered within like a minute of the notification. Wasn't planning to buy any Kyries but now that I was denied I'm bothered by it lol.

Curry 3 vs Kyrie 3 is a better comparison. I give them a tie. Looks is subjective, both fit good without pain anywhere and are comfortable.

To answer your question I like the Kyrie 3 over the Harden 1.
