I remember the knit on the Nike ids was def thinner than retail. So if anyone has those lying around still then that’s likely what Nike is using for the protro.

Yeah, them being thinner isn't a problem. They're extremely thick and can be uncomfortable when your foot is hitting the inside. That's why Nike moved away from such thick flyknit.
