I thought for sure that would be in the pipe once they started bringing back the 9. Or even a Masterpiece low. But still nope. Probably the same old strategy, though: If they did that out of the gate, loads of people would probably buy them but then feel no need to buy any of these other EM lows and random colorways etc. So it becomes a years-long slow trickle with loads of stuff no one was clamoring for to generate revenue in between the sure-fire releases. I’ve said before, it also doesn’t help that the overall Kobe line doesn’t have that many models and colorways people consider must-have classics. If Nike just released the ones most people want, the line would be out of ammo within three to five years, give or take.
