Nike Kobe 9 Protro

If I recall these (Protros) actually fit better and more TTS. I think the OG's had more toe box room which allowed the Lebron XI inserts to fit in them comfortably. I don't think that would be possible for the protos due to their more TTS fit

Yeah, I remember the OGs feeling roomier. It could be the react insole is a little thicker and denser.
I don't really know.
It's been 10 years, my feet probably grew lol.

Something else I noticed tonight as far as little details go compared to the OG. The Kobe logo on the tongue is smaller, and the tongues themselves are smaller as they aren’t as wide/bulky. Likewise, the swooshes on both sides of the shoe are a bit smaller as well.

Just noticing this, the tongue on the Protro Masterpiece is thinner vs the Halo. Didn't get the Christmas cw but I'm sure it is also thinner

Something else I noticed tonight as far as little details go compared to the OG. The Kobe logo on the tongue is smaller, and the tongues themselves are smaller as they aren’t as wide/bulky. Likewise, the swooshes on both sides of the shoe are a bit smaller as well.

These do feel a little easier to tie all the way up. I don't remember that being as comfortable in the OGs. The protros might be more playable.

completely forgot they fit big too, i usually wear 10s in nikes/jordans and most these kobe 9s are size 9, the masterpieces are a size 10 and they do feel long, also forgot how much of a chore putting these on

But anyway, great outcome. Will take pics next to my mint OGs later. First thought is these are great and all, but not as vibrant. And the silver swoosh annoys me

I almost bought the green Victory pair multiple times but the damn gold swooshes always killed it for me. Wish they were white or black.

seeing the Detail, makes me want them to Protro it and the Inspiration cw (my OG is unwearable). I'll pass on the Perspective though

My Inspirations are still pretty mint. Always wish that colorway had a gray outsole, though, like the MP. But the flyknit coloring is fire.
What Nike REALLY needs to do is release the Precision colorway Kobe rocked but never released originally for some insane reason. Best colorway to me after the MP.

I emailed them no response but called them and they put them back as a "one time courtesy". I'm like y'all cancelled them ****s.

Anywho the new ones touched down.

These are definitely way more red than the OGs

Still can't believe I actually was about to get the 13.5, OGs are a 14.
