For those who don't know, the early models of the KD line used to originally retail for $90-$95 up to a certain point.

Remember these were $90 when they launched. And when they went on sale, they were 35-40 good ol days! I believe his first three sigs were meant to be affordable. But they did lack tech (cushion). $130 now they def need protro upgrades but I would not hold my breath.

^yup, and KD4s were $95 IIRC? All uphill from there. The KD4 retro in 2018 was like $130 or $140. KD had said he wanted his shoes to be affordable because he was raised by a single parent who couldn't afford much for him. I was pretty disappointed when that started to change but that's obviously out of his control.
