Wanted to try a pair and the BCA was calling me for personal reasons and i assumed i’d wake up and cop from the nike app. I was mistaken.

Haven’t seen a Nike basketball shoe move like this in years.

They're essentially what used to be known as a hyperstrike. Dating back to last Summer, the physical pairs have been few and far in between if there are any. Maybe it's the supply chain, but this is a model you'd think Nike would at least make sure their top college programs would be wearing much like the Hyperdunk when it first came out in 2008. I have multiple Nikestores in my city and they never got these. People are taking advantage of the availability.

just to be on the safe side, make a mental picture that it is an impulse buy that you regret on buying and put in mind that it's a terrible ugly looking shoe.

I hooped for about 12 hours outdoors in the joker colorway. I also dragged my feet and the toebox got scuffed up pretty good.

You should have seen the employee's face when I returned them cause the shoes looked like they went through war. It didn't help my extra wide hobbit feet caused some weird wear on the lateral side.

eventhough I love the aesthetics and performance of the Cuts and 36, I opted not to double-down on those two. this time I'll try some variety when it comes to looks and performance.

the Jumps so far, aesthetically speaking are decent with the right colorway like these. I would say that they are really meant for ballin as the aesthetics are just too loud for casual wear although passable with the appropriate garment like wearing pants and covering the top part of the shoe makes them look decent. I would say that the cut-out portion of the upper especially the fuse material expose the tpu strand/wire that made them look dirty. the least they could have done is put some overlay over it or atleast paint it off rather than expose the cut out part of the strands. the outsole is very grippy and seems to feel like sucking on to the floor. cushion felt weird like a sinking sensation but I dont think it's that mushy. very bouncy and I would save the shoes would save my knees in the long run. hope for some shoot-around tomorrow but couldn't play pick-up as of the moment. might try the Jump then.

I looked in the mirror at the store several times if the shoe is passable. so far and as long as the top part is covered, they looked decent enough. I didn't find them that big at all unless you expose the top half.

in fairness to the GT Jumps' materials, they felt better compared to the GT Runs' disposable condom wrap. I couldn't even imagine having one even if they give it to me for free. just felt so wrong.
