Interesting, I just got my mercurial superflys. Love the shoe, but noticed the right had the nike sign in the suede on the inner side of the shoe. The left was missing the nike sign but there was a slight, faint, barley noticable outline if you look hard enough in the suede. Is this a defect? Anyone else have this problem?
nike sign right there on both here. you should contact nike and ask for a pair of black HTMs in return

I wonder if I could find a craftsman that works with leather and suede that can fix it. What ever happened to people with skills like that?
There's no way Nike would fix that. They'd probably tell you to send it in for a voucher or return (obviously you wouldn't want to). Just be glad you have a pair and try not to let it bother you much.

the suede was embossed before they sewed it on the shoe. Finding a cobbler who is a "craftsman" or leather will be hard but im sure noone is going to stop you in the street and ask to see the swoosh on the heel. You should be ok but if it bothers you that much then you can look into asking a specialist to customize them
