You should probably go up a half size if you plan to put any decent insoles in the mercurials
the insoles that come with it are nice with the soft leather on top, but they're pretty thin
then again, the footbed is very narrow, so a thicker insole probably wouldn't work well since it has to take the shape of the underside of the foot where the flyknit meets the sole
you really don't need to do anything to these shoes, they fit amazing as is
