Nike Free Haven 3.0 Summer 2012

Also, for those asking, the Volt color is brighter than what is shown on the NikeStore.  Not dull like some of the pictures posted in this thread.

Thanks Alex.  When you say they run small, were you barefoot or wearing socks?
Stole this pic from the April Pick Up Post.  JD said this is the actual color of the shoe.  No photoshopping.

I don't even think I'd consider the shoe if it wasn't for Ty's pic. Definitely considering for a summer pick up.

No problem.  I was wearing relatively thin FinishLine brand socks.  I called Nike this morning to discuss and the rep mentioned that he had the same problem.  He ended up getting a full size bigger.  I'll keep you posted once I get both pairs on whether they run a half or full size small.
The color looked great, BTW.

MUST. HAVE. THESE.
Price point?

Edit: Just saw these on NDC. The pics on there really make these look dull. Anyone else have pics?

Is the swoosh and the midsole white or blue? Would be cool if they were blue.

He has a lot of shoe pics that probably resulted in many sales.

How's the sizing for you? Say compared to an Air Max 90 or 95? They actually look pretty wide in the toebox which is nice.

They do run small. I wear a 9.5, but with socks these are rather tight.

The swoosh is 3M and the midsole is white.

^^^^ He's right. Swoosh is 3M and the sole is white. Also this picture is a lot closer to the real color of the shoe than the Nike.com picture. They're a pretty bright volt green.

Went to pick these up today. For information purposes; I wear a 12....They were quite Exact on the length. NikeTown, NorthPark had a 12.5 so I tried em. Weren't a good look for me. I've got a relatively slim foot and these accentuate the width of the shoe because there is hardly any height. So, aesthetically, they end up looking "platypus bill-$#%" on foot. They definitely lack the gradual sloped effect that most runners possess. Still a nice shoe though...i wanted them. Just not for me.

Got the all black pair in yesterday and I've trained in them twice already.  Have to say I'm a huge fan.  I can't go back to training in Free Runs after wearing these.  A lot more stability in the heel plus much better traction coming from the bottom.  Great shoe for lifting.  My main problem training in my Free Runs for a while is that so much of the balance gets put on the balls of your feet, which is a problem with stuff like deadlifts, leg presses, squats...etc.  You don't have that type of problem with this sneaker.  The stability in the heel lets you distribute your weight a little more evenly, but it still maintains the Nike Free feel when you're doing cardio and other exercises.

anyone got a size comparison, specifically to the Free Run 2s? I might swoop up the volts on east bay before they put the exclusion.

got my black/volt pair last thursday and i love 'em. granted these are my first pair of frees, so i cant compare them to other frees, they're mad comfy; worn them 4 times for 4-5+ hours. got a lot of compliments from co-workers and customers (i work @ a nike outlet).
main difference between training shoes and running shoes is that training shoes have a bigger toe box, mainly to help with side-to-side movements, whereas running shoes are strictly for forward movement, ie running.

i got my true size (size 10) with this shoe in hope to break 'em in and let them loosen up after a while. i dont have the widest feet but they're not narrow either.
at first they were really tight and snug. it wasnt tight length or width wise, it was tight on top of the toes. this shoe has a low "ceiling", probably made so your feet feel secure like a glove. (which they do)
after the first day of wearing them, they dont feel tight anymore, just perfect. at least for me.

Thanks for the info.  With or without socks?

At this point, I'm thinking I'm going to order both an 11 and 11.5 and just return one.
