I copped the Barely Grape pair on Nike today. I think it's an amazing shoe. I ordered a 9, half size up from my original size. Should I be fine with the sizing?

IMO, size .5 up for casual wear. TTS if you're playing in them.

Kind of appears it was done haphazard since they have no information about how they collect the data. No methodology. No explanation about how they gather it is typically a red flag that the data is garbage.

Some guys don't play, or warm up in different shoes than they play in, or there aren't clear shots of their shoes. I mean we can just take it for what it is, some kind of gross estimation, but it's anything but citeable when you're not describing how you're getting the data. They could take what a guy has on during the first game and then extrapolate out for his minutes played for the year. Or for the month. Or the week.

There's also no data about guys switching shoes, or when guys are sliding around in them. Or if they were gifted the shoes by a teammate (giannis for example). There are just so many holes.

Sorry for being a downer. It's just like when the claim was rolling around that these overseas brands had like 40% market share all of a sudden, but when you looked at the claim, it was for one overseas website.

anyway, back to the Books. I saw a guys pic online where his books were sagging on the medial side. Which is to say they weren't sagging, they're just not good for overpronators I think. I hope that's the right terminology. Basically I like and need shoes with arch on the insides and these aint them. Which explains why I had so much pain in em. Sucks cause I absolutely love the Sunset colorway. Thinking about trying to use an old pair of insoles I have to beef up the arch support.

Received the Sunsets from L&H today. Now, I'm finally a part of the BOOK Club!

My only complaint is the lack of the "book" pull tag at the heel. That was such a nice touch to give them that signature "Book" aesthetic. Otherwise, these are EASILY my favorite released cw. I LOVE the outsole on them, as the transparent portion towards the toe looks like a gum sole already!

A side of me is regretting not scooping a double, so I could use them as donors to swap their soles onto the All Star cw.

That's what I thought. Just saw a YouTube short that said they were a GS only release. Nike would be dropping the ball if this were the case given the movie it pays homage to was released in the 90's.
