Those are nice! They remind me of these ACG AOs that I've been looking for for a while now.
I'm also glad that the FGs are actually releasing. That cw is too plain for my liking, but it gives me hope that the "Be Legendary" cw could release too!

Not only am I a fan of the canvas upper, the outsole gradient is also a very nice touch with tonal upper.

DEFINITELY IN on the Canvas PHX cw! They’re going to be one of my favorite releases of the year amongst all brands, TBH.
A little critique though… the cw would’ve been better if the gradient was on the midsole rather than just the outsole.

Looking at my favorite cws of these, the “Be Lengendary” and the newly surfaced Canvas PHX, I give the edge to the Canvas PHXs as my overall favorite for this silhouette. The clincher is that the upper isn’t constructed with leather! These may be a 2X up.
I’m a fan when signature/iconic cws are interpreted other models. In this case, the canvas cw is its own (i.e. not utilizing any other iconic cws), which makes them more dope to me!

I hooped in some canvas cross trainers for YEARS and loved em. I was in a dunk contest in them (lost terribly)
I had a bad time in the books I played in a few weeks ago and sent em back. Wide footer and first got my TTS and the top of the toebox was raking my toes on a simple try on. Those went back. Got the Hikes on a great sale and went a half size up and they felt great on try on, but then when I played in them it was uncomfortable to the point where I only ran a game in em and that was that.
But I am all the way in on the purple joints for TTS, and I'll just rock em casually for a few months until they break in. Those are

It was only not worse because I"m not 6'7 like PP
Otherwise, I missed every dunk, and slid on the set-up court stuff they had. It was like trying to run and jump on a surface made of milk crates.
I'm happy I did it because everybody told me to play organized sports in school and I never did, but at least I tried that dunk contest.Back to the shoes, I can't stop looking at these joints.

Feel and aesthetics, TBH. I know creasing is inevitable and expected, but it looks worse on leather.
