Hoping my local ****'s will have these tomorrow so I can try them on before copping.

Finally my local JD had them a day before release. Midsole still feels stiff like the Rising colorway, lace pressure is still there on the top lacehole, and upper is softer but is too soft and flimsy imo.
They actually remind of the Jordan futures in terms of fit where the midsole was stiff and the upper flimsy as it was, trying its best to keep your foot in the shoe. Visually the shoe looks awesome, but imbalance of midsole stiffness and soft upper makes want to wear af1’s over the book 2.

I’ve seen Book 3 slated for fall 2026. At least 3 colors dropping before end of year.

Are these getting a wider release? I can't make the drive down. My buddy lives like 2 blocks away, but he has to work and cant run over for me.

Denim 2s are alright. I’m perfectly content with my triples of the Blue Blood 1s though, so I’m passing even when the 2s go on sale.
Damn, the Chapter 3s are already set for later this year?! Do they not have faith in the 2s like they did with the 1s, which had run over two years or so?!

IMO, the book 2’s are actually a failed project similar to how the tatum 2’s were. As of now, we haven’t really seem a version/colorway outside the spiridon colorway that has a soft upper so in my mind, am thinking they were planning something that didn’t really work so they ended up hardening the upper and call it a day just to meet deadlines.

So did sizing/fit change in the 2s?
I have the Cortez pair of the 1s and still haven’t worn them officially, but tried on like 3 times. They’re tight in the toe box. Do they break in loosen in that area (same with 2s)?
I bought those and then had Achilles surgery the next week so didn’t get a chance to wear them. And now any given day each shoe I own fits differently.
TLDR: does the 2 for like the 1? Does it require break in - cuz 13 is tight but there’s no 13.5

Tried on the Spiridons this morning. Fit is similar to the 1's but I also have a narrow flat foot. With that said the height of the toebox feels slightly lower, so more sung there. The mesh on the Spiridons has way more give than the other cws. Don't think I'd want anything other than a mesh based pair of these 2s.
