Lol I don't even pay attention to the mockups or the pictures that they'll leak in the future because given their history (especially with the Book 1) they showed us one thing and released something else. Literally the first color way they showed us was a certified banger/classic, a version of the Haven's, then released an inferior version of them.

One nitpick I do have, but I guess I shouldn't at this point, is the removal of heel zoom. Like they couldn't have just kept it and added the forefoot Zoom? Even just a met bag ffs?

It's like Nike basically opted to have a bootleg approach to these by making them a revised version of the Spiridon.

The first color is slated to release on February 6, 2026. They're going to be $145.

Forefoot Zoom!!! By ZoomX sockliner, they mean insole. The Zoom Tempo Next% had a ZoomX insole.

I love that they’re going to be mesh uppered. Was never really a fan of the Spiridons, so I’ll be waiting on other cws.

Well in that case I hope they don't limit the first color way, I love the Spiridons. The mockup is solid to me, I have faith in what Patchenhz says. Gonna try and hold back on purchasing as many 2s as I can did 1s.

Agreed. Seems like all have forefoot zoom now. Heel is what made Book special.

Agreed. Seems like all have forefoot zoom now. Heel is what made Book special.

If the forefoot unit is as thick as the heel one was I'm cool with it and if it spans the entirety of the forefoot too, slightly wider than the Jordan 13. Doubt the insole/sock liner will make much of a difference but who knows.

I like Book, love the kicks so far, but I feel that sentiment. To me though as long as they're not "Chapter One" limited I'll try for them. If they are, **** it.

****, maybe I won't be able to hold off. Giving Book front and back cushioning? Oh boy, meanwhile Adidas is replacing their best cushioning system IMO (JetBoost) from the AE 2 and adding LightStrike/LiteBoost instead. Or at least that's what initial reports say.

If the 1s are anything to go by the color ways/inspirations will definitely come correct.
