Nike Basketball Shorts Tearing?

Is it just me or do Nike basketball shorts get tears easily? I've only worn it once and washed it and now it has 10+ tears in it.

They do tend to snag easily. Although I'm partial to Nike, the Footlocker, Champs, ad Footaction shorts last almost forever
