i dont think so the originals were just out a few years ago and then the ultras last summer, nike seems to haver thier air max day stuff already laid out. 97 vapors, 98's and 180s.What will happen is Nike will get people to buy these and then they will release the originals later this year...

I tried the vapormax plus on at my local ftl and i would definitely say tts or you might even be able to get away with .5 down. i had a small amount of space in the toecap with my TTS.
They are very comfortable and if more CW's come out that i like i'm definitely gonna cop. I'll have to see when i actually get one but my initial impression was that it's more comfortable than the regular fk vapormax.

Picked up the Sunset colourway at my local Nike store. More comfortable than the normal VM (out of the box, at least).
In terms of sizing, I'm a true 10.25 with slightly wide feet. I ended up sticking with 10.5 with these as I'd rather they be slightly more accommodating for thicker socks and wider feet than the opposite. However, the 10 was okay as well so if you have narrow feet you can definitely size down from your VM size.
For reference I wear:
Vapormax - 10.5
Flyknit Racer - 10.5
Air Max 1 Mesh - 10.5
Air Max 1 Leather - 10
Air Max 95 - 10.5
Zoom Fly SP - 10.5
Vaporfly 4% - 10
Roshe - 10.5
Flyknit Trainer - 10.5 (but its slightly big)
Jordan 4/5/6/11/12 - 10

I'm just saying, according to several shoe sites 2018 is the 20 year anniversary of the Air Max Plus TN. There is a good chance those originals will come out. Remember the Air Max 95 upper with the Vapormax sole is dropping this fall. There will be more releases this year.
Think too.. there is no way Nike will say the original colorway Plus will come out at this time. If its mentioned then they won't get you to buy the current Vapormax Plus.
These 2 already announced. Honestly I would rather have the all black Plus than the black Vapormax Plus.

After ordering the orange sunsets off FL, I went to check out the shoe in-store (black and obsidian). As others have stated, the shoe is a little bulky, but all in all, I think Nike has a winner on its hands. Hope they release more colorways. I don't consider this shoe a novelty. It feels more comfortable than the regular Vapors.
