Nike Air VaporMax

i get that, but it looks like the the whole shoe wasnt dippped; and like someone else mentioned the flywire was dyed. unless im just bugging out.

Exactly what I was getting at. That's why I'm like how the fk did he do that lol. The upper is still regular platinum. No dye.

Is there anyone here who bought them and after extended wear dislikes them?

my guess is that he sprayed a repellent to keep the dye from soaking in.

I wore them out the door on Sunday for about 3 hrs.  Wore them all day today, and appreciated them more.  I'm not getting into the boost comparison stuff.  It is the most comfortable Air Max I've ever worn, and I've been wearing them for all 3 decades.

Actually the Plats are the largest allocation of any color releasing this year (2 more restocks to come, 60,000 units total)

Hi there!
Any idea about the relative quantity for the CDG x vapormax black and white? It seems that there are more white than black CDG pairs from what we see in eBay.
Thanks!

If they're releasing 40+ more pairs this year then we should be getting a new color way every week. [emoji]128561[/emoji]

Not sure about those. They are prob around the same but my guess would be that people liked the black pair better so they bought those more for personal and that's why you see less on ebay

Just got my pair of Plats.

Initial feel seems a LIL more snug than Racer but wearable, maybe because it was also more "structured"? Don't know how to put it, but definitely more comfortable but need some time getting used to.

I'm looking at picking up a women's pair size adjusted. Does anyone know if the box says women's or is the sizing on the box unisex like the Flyknit Racer?

its different. the womens width is more narrow. someone mentioned the comment from the Nike chat help convo earlier. just go for a mens pair unless you want the OG. plats are still out there at retail

It's showing women's and the correct women's US sizing as well.

The future release strategy for the Vapormax seems very similar to what adidas did with the NMD:

1) schedule a s**t ton of CWs to drop the first six months.
2) keep the availability limited to Nike stores, HOHs, and boutiques (online and in store)
3) pray that the hype lives on from week to week and that they sell out.

Would love to see a similar Air unit on models like the presto or future Roshe. Think it could happen?

Got the Plats yesterday from local Finish Line, wore them last night and today, couldn't be happier def getting comfier. Kind of weird to drive with though.

Except that Vapormax is not just a lifestyle shoe and will generate considerable sales to runners.

That 40+ pairs has to be Women's and GS sizes included. Females get maybe 2/3s as males and maybe a handful of kids CWs. Makes more sense to me

I'd be interested to see what the GS model would look like and what they would change, like if the air bag placement is different, or if there are less individual bags.

They look really comfy, just not sure how I feel about the air bubble design.

I'm assuming the shoes are really lightweight?

thought the same thing. this is Nikes answer to adidas whos been pushing UBs and NMDs down throats.

not their answer in comfort, but their answer to the hype.
