I'd imagine there isn't a way to change the color of that airbag. It's probably only volt :lol

Nike overuses that volt color... it's kinda corny looking at this point

Funny that they're still using Volt considering the Platinum CW is meant to be a reset for all of Running's color palette.

Reset... yeah whatever

 Here we go...http://sneakernews.com/2017/03/14/nike-vapormax-trial-run-review/4/
Referencing past iconic colorways that helped define an era of color trends for Nike Running models like the “Infrared” Air Max 90 and “Silver Bullet” Air Max 97, Creative Director of Nike Running Andres Harlow stated that the simple Pure Platinum launch colorway for the VaporMax is meant to be a “reset” for the current era. Instead of weighing the shoe down with neon or multicolor combinations, the Pure Platinum colorway is meant to enhance the shoe’s light and airy feeling. Expect more fresh and clean looks like this on other Nike Running models in the near future.

volt air bubble makes those ids one of the easiest passes ever.

wonder if those IDs will come in the same box the GR VMs will come in or a standard id box 0.o

I want to do some IDs but hopefully I can try them on in-store first because I'd hate to order, wait for delivery and get the wrong size then the ID option be gone to re-order.

How do they compare to the 2014/15/16 360 air max sole?
Good question! You certainly don't feel the air all over the way you do with the 360. On the VM, you feel all the piping, if that makes sense.

Makes sense; thanks.  I imagine it's much like the AM1 and AM90 ultra soles where you feel the sections a lot.  It also probably depends on each person's weight since it's tuned only by size.  A heavier person in a given size is going to feel more compression than a lighter person.  Would love to be able to tune it.  Some IDs let you tune it to a softer feel; would be nice to have more options to tune more precisely.

Definitely one you have to try on @PWGuy. Which iDs let you tune the feel?
A couple years ago I ordered a Tailwind 6 as a gift; I don't recall the wording, but something like "firm ride" and "soft ride".
