suguruvstotoro, you think its bad now? I can only fear the amount of time and effort wasted on some straight up hideous samples:

Nice thick suede. There is so much out there in the unreleased fashion

I just noticed but the red has like a plastic overlay over the material. Im guessing its a patent like material.

Those samples are, by far, uglier than red seersucker ones. (IMO)
I really don't mind if Nike tries "something new" with trainer line but I do belive there's some "rules" to respect (ie plasticstrap, "nike air" on the back, real names, NO PATENT....)
As you always say, there's a lot of OG shoes to release before those "experiments".

Anyway, if those represent the future of trainer retro line, let me say "bye, bye". For a real trainer fan, those pics do really hurt...

found another sample via ebay:.. the colorway in theory is quite appealing. but I am not sure what the stitching is that is placed all over the shoe. that sortof overlay is just ugly to me. I think it may be trying to have a quilt like plaid like suit "feel" to it. anyone else have any ideas what nike wastrying to convey with stitched thread messing up an entire upper. did a sewing machine come to life and go off on some shoes?
