Nike Air Pegasus ALL NEW MODELS 30, 31, 32 and up

I'm in for day one on those blacks.

vomero 18s actually gon be $150, a $10 decrease from the current model?

Vomero 18 looks like the shoe I’ve been waiting for.

Jumped on the React bandwagon with the Epics when Nike started to take on Boost, and have followed that through the Epic 2, Infinity 1/2/3/4. The final Infinity RN 4 was heavy and a bit unresponsive (though comfortable, soft and protective) and as I’ve improved my running gradually I can probably start to get the Zoom X stuff now and run at a pace it can be enjoyed.

The Vomero 18 having that slab of Zoom X but the outer layer of React X should be the perfect mix for recovery runs but with the ability to stretch the pace if you wanted to.

I tried the Vomero 17s and the Invincible 3s in store this week - Vomero felt a bit thin in the stack and with a weird heel strike, whereas Invincible was amazing spring but a little unstable/possible slippy heel.

Hoping Vomero 18 takes the best of Infinity and Invincible into a really strong cushioned running line.

The only other one I’m tempted by is Peg Plus for that Zoom X slab of foam - never ran in Pegs before- would they be good for regular 10kms (30-40km per week) and the occasional half marathon?

The Invincible Run 3 initialy feel unstable or weird only when trying'em on just standing still and walking at first until you get used to them. In my experience they are NOT unstable at all when running...and that is coming back from the worst ankle injury you could ever imagine(basketball related). Still recovering from that injury 15 months later and they are my absolute go to shoes when running. No heel slippage here, just tie 'em tight or use runners knot and you won't have any issues if you go tts. They are really amazing shoes.

Prior to that, earlier in my ankle rehab process, I was wearing exclusively the Infinity Run FlyKnit 3 and still am regularly. They do offer an outstanding balance of plushness and stability. These can currently be found at ridiculously low prices at the Nike Outlets and they are some of the very best runners I've ever had, but they do bottom out at some point around the 2 years mark when used extensively.

The Peg Plus feel a little more stable than the Invincible 3 but are very on the plush side too and feel a bit wobbly at first only when walking if you're not used to the feeling. They are more 1 to one, meaning narrower in the toe box and the heel counter is a little tighter too. Super lightweight. No downsides to report.
They are some kind of a happy middle ground between the Infinity 3 and the Invincible 3 as they retain qualities from both, but with the ZoomX plushness.
Can't tell you for sure if they'd be suitable for 1/2 marathon as I'm not even remotely close to running these kind of distances. I'm not quite there yet, but I can extrapolate and 10k I'd say yeah no problem at all(probably 1/2 marathon too).

That Epic React one RIP. I wish they weren’t so expensive on resale platforms or I had the knowledge that Nike has issues exercising consistency across their lines.

I like the Peg Plus not enough cushioning a la the Invincible or Infinity for ME. I feel like Nike gave away that segment while still competing in the super shoe category.

Prefer the Super Blast 1-2, the Nova Blast. I tried the Brooks Glycerin Max and it was comparable to the Super Blast. I’m sure New Balance and the Cloud probably have similar platforms.

Thanks man! Really appreciate. I may see if I can find a sale pair of Invincibles ahead of the Vomero relaunch in the new year.

Away from Nike, anyone on here tried the Supernova Prima (Adidas)- think it’s their latest Mac cushioned daily?

Why is the P)egasus 41 "Faded Spruce" releasing on SNKRS? AM I missing something?

It's a slightly premium version of the peg 41s so I guess its how they justify it. There's some synthetic leather (i'm guessing synthetic) like the swoosh and the tongue pull table thing. There's some synthetic suede or nubuck on the heel counter too i guess to reference like some pegasus models in the 80's.

Anyone ever run in the Peg 35 Turbo? I bought them for casual wear and completely forgot I had them when I started running last year. Now I’m wondering if I should give those a try or look for something new. I do 5-10k on average.

I’m kinda gutted that the big bulbous part of the foam where “ZoomX” logo is printed is actually ReactX.

I was expecting more of the Zoom X than there is- so I’m guessing the plus and possibly premium will be where we get that (at an enhanced price a la the Pegasus Plus)

This might be a silly question but has anyone used vomero 5s for 10k+ runs?

I’ve seen a lot of folks wearing them, but mainly for training in the weightroom or casually. Currently in the market for new running shoes
I tried Vomero 17's. I typically run in whatever Pegasus model is out but this time wanted to see if these were better than the Pegasus. Honestly, I couldn't tell a big difference either way in performance, but I returned the Vomeros because they thin material at the top around the ankle was ripping and had some holes in it. I thought that was unacceptable after only a little bit more than a month. It's not like I do yard work in these, they were just used for running. Went with the Pegasus 5 trails for a changeup over the regular Pegasus and I am happy with them. I also bought the crazy Alphafly 3's just to see what they are about and I like them... but I don't daily those. I like all the tech in them, but honestly, I feel more comfortable running in Pegasus and the lower to ground feel on a daily basis. I bust out the Alphaflys once in awhile.

Long story short, I saw no real difference between Vomero and Pegasus, and to be honest I think I prefer the Pegasus a little bit more. Maybe just because I'm used to it, but I think they are just great all-arounders. If I'm keeping it 100, the Winflo is a great model that I think is almost identical to the Pegasus in performance and feel at a lower price.

So the Vomero 18 is essentially the new infinity run? Or will that be the Vomero plus?

I wonder how it compares to the Zoom All Out. The way they described it sounds very similar to the Novablast 3, sans the weight. NGL, I just want to them for casual wear lol

To me, it's more like a rebrand of the Invincible.

Unless I’m mistaken, the next *Invincible* will be called the Vomero Plus. If the *Infinity* is updated, I guess it’ll be called the Structure Plus.

This is what the reorganization will look like moving forward:

So for example, the Vomero line will consist of an Icon, e.g., the current # like 18, then the Plus (formally Invincible), and finally the Premium (not yet revealed, but likely a thicker midsole than the Plus).

So, are any of the tiers of Vomero going to get any type of air cushioning? Or is going to be foam on top of useless foam?

The Vomero 18 doesn’t have a Zoom Air Unit and—I’m guessing—neither will the Vomero Plus (likely all ZoomX in the midsole). See bobert78 bobert78 post above for the rumored Vomero Premium.

I'm def. buying these as casual wear.
I'm crying inside on how many Jordans are about to get relagated to finally sacrifice myself to the comfort gods.
The real question is whether I should cop that white or black.
