Can anyone recommend insoles that are thinner than the factory Nike ones; bought a pair of Pegasus turbos in size 9.5 which is slightly tight (have wide feet) - the size 10 was way too long; tried the shoe tree stretcher and it didn’t do much
Thanks in advance

Maybe try a pair of your old liners first. They flatten out and would already be shaped to your foot.

Great idea. I noticed that the insoles in the Turbos are thicker than in my other Nikes. Frankly, the Turbo midsole is so plush you might be able to get away with just removing the insole. I tried one 5K run in my Turbos with no insole and it was fine.

I had only one pair each of the LT1 and 2. Definitely liked the 1 more, but didn’t really like how my forefoot started feeling no cushion about 100 miles in.
The LT1s are my wife’s favorite shoes, though she doesn’t run. I constantly search eBay for her size and when I find a new pair under $50 I always get them. I think she has like six at this point
Got 2 more pairs of lunartempo 1s coming for my wife after the eBay sale yesterday

Well its official gentlemen. I give up on Peg 35s. I tried to run outdoors in them and they just are too tight along the heel/midfoot area. Is it that they are worn out too quickly?

Has anyone experienced their zoom popping in the 35s? I'm convinced my right shoe has had the zoom pop as it's absolutely dead compared to the left shoe.

Yes, there have been complaints in this thread about it. Send them back to Nike for a voucher.

Guys...

Okay, not 100% officially, but I'm testing the waters and it resulted well today. I did 13 easy 200-meter intervals with a warm-up lap and a cool-down lap with a fair amount of breaks in-between just for precaution, so that's a little over 2 miles worth of running. The stupid app on the Ticwatch just couldn't locate two of my intervals, damn it. Anyway, because my legs have had lots of rest over these past several months, I'm able to have a much better and tolerable stride. No weak Achilles on my right foot meaning I'm able to improve the stride a bit. Not going to rush into things, but I will continue to take it easy and see how it goes.

I had the zoom pop in both shoes of my first pair. Sent them back to Nike and got a voucher no problem.

I have tried out 4 different pairs of the 35s. Fit has been consistent across all pairs. Cushioning has not. First and fourth pairs had the best cushioning feel - good impact protection and a nice bounce back from zoom. Second and third pairs had dead to almost dead cushioning feel like the zoom was popped or underinflated out of the box. I would suggest trying on multiple pairs before picking one to buy.

Tried a couple pairs of the Peg Turbos and not loving them. Fit is okay but not great. Cushioning is mushier than I like. Just feels more like a casual shoe or light trainer dressed up to look like a technical shoe.

Finally picked up a Turbo. This is the colorway I liked the most because the stripe isn’t as noticeable. At $84 pretaxes at the clearance store, they were AUTOCOPPED.

Nike needs to move away from Crimson cws though lol. It looks like Electro Green will be the next featured color on their marquee lineup.
