I was digging through my archives trying to find my pic of the Nike air tuned max circa 1999. I still have both shoes in whole lol (not the best condition).

I thought Nike would have released these instead they payed homage with those Skeptas... I loved these as well and hope they retro this OG colorway.

BTW these were a Nike Alpha Project shoe as well.

Doubt the OG colorways gonna go on sale when they drop stateside. You may be able to use a promo code after a month or two. The black/orange Max 97 plus been out for like 6 months or more at $175 retail and tons of sizes everywhere and they’re still not on sale

Wow.... Are these your pair of 1999 tuned maxes? They are in immaculate condition in the above pics. Never thought the Skeptas would meet its predecessor in that condition. Definitely a nice pic of both.... Guess I can say I'm a little jelly....lol...

Man if Nike would of only excepted me into there program years ago, we would have some dope kicks... Keep in mind this is a 19 year old design.
The upper could of easily been used as flyknit and and vein overlays as added support...
