Happy I locked em in now. The fragmented drop lets resellers and the like refocus on each specific, staggered drop. Makes it s pain for the genuine fans/wearers - what else is new I guess

I can deal with the differences between the og and retro just happy the retro wasn’t completely butchered could be a lot worse than no white hits on the sole and leather/ pleather replace Instead of suede on the toe box area

Those are from the 2014 run of 98 retros, which all rotted in stores, ended up on deep disco or in outlets, had plans on copping like 3 cws but waited to late until my size started drying up

I would rather wait for new releases
You know that the midsole has only 10 years of life.
Team orange release or not, for a 2014 shoe only has 60% life left.
I would cop only black gold 98s & team orange 98s (if releasing) this year.
Tour yellow, if it hits $80 I would do.
But most likely will sell out. It’s okay.

TBH, had it not been for the success of the 97 last year, i am positive this round of 98 retros would fly under the radar and suffer the same fate as the prev retros, even with this being the first retro of the Gundams
