Nike Air Max 98 Retro Scheduled? via NB

I see people are going a .5 size up, but no way a will find a 12.5 in the snake color

Any one have a navy pair on hand... post some pics... mine should be here tomorrow.

Damn, received a mail from Nike EU that my order has been delayed..

Copped a size 12 navy btw

My biggest problem with 98s have always been the colors. Nike has always done a terrible job and the color blocking was always off. These Supremes are fire. The black, navy and red pairs are so tough in person. I wouldn't pay $175 for them but I'm happy they're sitting on eBay.

im just mad i cant find any regular AM 98s anymore... all im seeing in size 9 are the supreme collab lol i do want a diff color too but i know after a while how ****** patent leather winds up looking after being worn, especially the black pair which is normally why i stay away from PL sneakers

Exactly same situation here! I received my 12 today and I am a 12 TTS in everything Nike / Jordan. They do run a bit snug but in reality I don't mind it that much. It isn't as small as a 95, and I don't think I'd want to go .5 up - I wouldn't recommend it unless people are used to sizing up. I'm the type of person that 1 size usually fits me in everything Nike. The only shoes I alter that for are AF1 (.5 down) and Huarache (1 full up). I don't go .5 up in Flyknit racers and I would only recommend it if you're used to sizing up in situations like that.

For those of you finding these a bit snug. Plant your foot in the back of the shoe - then lace. Airmaxes and running shoes in general are meant to be worn like this because of the degree of travel in running while mid stride. You will notice if you wear 95's loose your toes are constantly shoving forward because the toe is angled down. 98's have less of an angle but you will notice if you examine the sole a notch that takes place 85% the way up toward the toe that is intended to add power to your stride.

I been looking for the red/silver pair for a few months. Never seen them for the right price. I feel like because they're not that popular, Nike didn't do many colors and probably didn't make as many pairs as your typical 95s, 97s and so on.

Supreme finally "shipped" mine but they're still waiting to be picked up by ups. Won't have these until at last next Tuesday. The wait is killer.

The neon pair is fire and those were sitting on shelves on sale for the longest

I was reading on Instagram that this shoe was a resale flop and prices on eBay are not much more then retail

I had this feeling before they went on sale

An old forgotten style and hype usually don't work out so it might be something to hold onto for while

Looks like a struggle for Instagram New York City reseller
Good

I admit. I truly thought the resale would be crazy.

I did buy to resell. but after more and more pics floated in I dont think I could let em go.

I will likely keep em and rock em now or if anything trade em.

But I'm not disappointed one bit.

Glad I don't resell just released shoes anymore but if I did I would be crying

What was box $175 $180 ?

Selling this shoe is like moving GR Jordan your going to be lucky for make 25 to 30 a pair

For the people that want the shoe for the foot but didn't get all the colors this is great

This is true but making $25-$30 is still winning in todays world.

But yeah I at least grabbed the color I wanted so not worried

Love the snakesin shoe and its cap...I missed the release, I was thinking it was an old one...:s

It's not wining when your initial investment is 175 to 180 and your only making $25 or $30 that sounds like a waste of time and a huge fail

How is it a waste of time?

I went online and got them.

Go about your day while they ship to you.

When they get here if you put them up for picked up at $250 even they will be gone and I didnt have to do anything really.

But if thats a waste of time then we must be filthy rich

its winning for your as the buyer but for the reseller its a fail after ebay/paypal fees

the smart sellers moved their pairs the day of release

i could see this shoe being like the concepts dunks that came out last summer and sold for nothing on the resell market and now you cant give them away

it's not going to happen with these 98's all because of the supreme branding but this will not be like supreme shoes in the past with a nice resale profit
