Don't even care that its the same trilogy set as the 25th anniversary blu ray, BTTF is one of those things where I'll get any and everything. Looking forward to the book coming out too. I'm even thinking about picking up the Target steel book trilogy.

Yep, I remember watching that as a kid & having the McDonald's toys. I already got that pre-ordered, comes with an excerpt of the book that's coming out too. Going to enjoy every moment of this October!

If these shoes did come out, I'd love for Nike to do a simple release where there are more than enough pairs to go around and they actually technologically moved the sneaker industry forward.

Too bad Nike only cares about Capitalism and pushing their stockholders wallets forward. Yes I know that's all companies in this country.

Your first paragraph holds weight. Tinker has said that we will see some kind of self lacing feature and other "body sensing tech" on shoes in the future. And he has stated those ideas originally came from working on the Mag. But again...all of this will be seen on other shoes, but should push the industry forward a bit.

Guys...an announcement like this would come DIRECTLY from Nike, not some barely credible blog via Instagram.

Nike had a mini movie with KD, Tinker, Doc Brown and Bill Haider made. A documentary, MJF on Letterman, and that sweet "invite box" for the press to the unveiling. Granted it was still a major charity event...but you really think this would happen with ZERO fanfare from Nike? You all know better, stop getting your hopes up.

What?

AMC is showing all three parts in theaters only on Oct 21 beginning at 4:29 pm, and the big BluRay release. In conjunction there is a 30th anniversary celebration in CA Oct 21-25.

The only things going on Oct 16 is the release of a picture disc vinyl soundtrack and a Radio City Music Hall concert of the first movie. The orchestra will be playing Silvestri's score live to the movie Oct 15 and 16.

No actual big theater/movie anything on that date. And there is no sneaker release.

But damn homie unless your Tinker or Parker no one can be 100% on anything....just let it play out and let's see what happens...

If anything the last release came outta no where with Nike Media event put on the calendar and the eBay auctions happening within a few days...there was no Leaked pics...no blog post...nothing....just boom here they are

So is it possble...yea if Nike controls it front to end its possible for a October release to happen...

Now in my opinion I don't see this happening unless the product is 100% different from the last...it would devalue the eBay auctions...unless auction winners get first strike or they did another similar auction...

But then again...JB is slapping Nike Air on things which they promised never to do to protect the collectors...so at this point anything is possible...

All I'm saying is you should ease back a little...cause anything is possible...it's not getting hopes up its just being realistic that NONE of us know what is going to happen

Now your 1 comment regarding 100% different from the original release I agree with. Tinker has even said it himself how the Mag has inspired other futuristic designs and we'll see those elements on upcoming shoes. Upcoming shoes...a power lace feature we could definitely see on a non Mag shoe sure.

Sure I can ease back. But at the same time I'd rather read real info than the same trolling that gets jimmies rustled for no reason wouldn't you? I was an original auction winner as was SlamShut I believe so at the same time if we get "that" email that we speculated on since 2011, this thread would def be first to know.

I speak to the previously banned JediFyfe on a fairly regular basis about upcoming 30th anniversary events etc, and trust me this dude KNOWS his Mags much better than I do plus his Universal connects, etc... There is so much pointing to the contrary. But again...I will ease off the gas. I'll keep it to straight facts and answering questions in here.

Yes! The prices are crazy. Too bad it is Cali only as well. Jedifyfe is having a bunch of his BTTF props rented for the event though, which I think is dope. AMC is showing the trilogy on the 21st as well. Here in NJ my usual theater will have it. I'm there.

I checked out the "we're going back" site the other day. I think the top ticket price was $800...but weren't there some activities in the $150-200 range? I don't remember exactly. Still not awesome pricing, but better than a rack lol

EDIT: Most activities are 2 or 3 bills. Not terrible, not great. The ENTIRE few days is $800. Regardless still a cool thing. Will be looking forward to pics from Jedi since he's already sent me a few.
