Yeah two is the most anyone should need. I got two pairs of the 07's and one of them is still DS. one pair for me and I'll be happy.

love the new pics. was hoping these would not get hyped up but i think the bots will be feasting come release day. i am in for at least one pair on release day and then of course try on the restocks. will probably try the raffles but the few places i talked to at the mall a couple months ago said they do not normally get size 14 into the store. so we shall see. i love the wc 4s and have two pairs....would love to get two pairs of these 5s....black shoes are so much easier to wear for me

Those pics above definitely make the material look good. But the ones posted on marqueesole make the material look more ashy and more like black infrared 6. Hopefully not. That would ruin everything.

I don't own a pair of the recent VIs. Are they natural or man made materials?
I really prefer the synthetic nubuck. It ages so much better and is much easier to keep clean. Hopefully that's what they'll be using on these metallics.
My only gripe with the shoes is the tongue height. It's way too tall, but that's been an issue since 06/07. Depends on the size too and almost makes me want to squeeze into a 11.5. They only produce the tongues in only a few sizes and then put them on all the shoes in a certain size range. Tongues on 11.5 look proportionate, if not a little small but size up to a 12 and they use the same tongue as a sz.14 so it looks massive and goofy.

With the rate Nike releases Jordans at this point you've really got to be selective
Like if you purchased both of the X's that dropped today, want the Snakeskin 4s and low top 2s next Saturday, and the Flu Game 12s at the end of the month you'd be spending $800 + And that's if you're only into jays.

So it's only speculation at this point that the release date will get moved up? Is it common for retailers to get shipment of shoes almost 2 months in advance? I would think that would take up way too much storage space, especially for things that will be releasing soon. Can anyone who's worked in retail comment on that? Just curious.

Man @palma... 2 years ago, went the Carmine VI's dropped... They're was a festival here in Cincy, called "The Taste of Cincinnati". When I tell you everyone was rockin' em, EVERY *****' BODY was rockin' em. Little kids, Dudes matchin' along with they're chicks, parents... EVERY DAMN BODY.
It damn near made me not even want them anymore. My pair is still, well NDS. I tried them on once, & swapped the white laces for black ones.
I feel you 100% @OGMCMXCII, I'm just tryin' to get all of the Jordan's... 3-6, with Nike Air, & I'm goin' to retire. The prices are gettin' too damn high, & brothers got too many other priorities. I feel they're goin' to stretch the OG colorways out, for as long as they can, for the next 5-7 years. After that, if they don't come with something better... the Jordan bubble might finally burst.
My 2011's are still in good condition, aside from a little yellowing... Also, they have a permanent scuff on the toe boxes I can get rid of. I'll post some pics later on today. But yes @stevesteve72, if I can get two pairs... With NO flaws, I'll be SUPER satisfied.
I agree @jaylaw15, I have two pairs of the 2014 Black/Infrared VI's. In NO way, shape or form... are they that damn ashy. Those Marquee Sole pics, are definitely suspect.
I'm cool off of all that BS, @Jays25. The only pair I was kinda checkin' for, are the Black & Varsity Red XII's. But for real, I don't need em. I never really cared for the XII's, outside of the Playoff's. Actually with XII's, I'm better off savin' my money up, to buy an OG pair of the XII's I heard on here that the OG's are No Limit tanks.

Stores usually receive shipments of shoes 2-4weeks before release right? I'm thinking these might have be pushed up to the end of May or early June....no way stores are getting shipments 2months in advance
