Five years from now when deadstock pairs are going for $350+, we'll likely reminisce about how easy these were to pick-up. Similar to the Raging Bull DMP.

Haven't received my two pairs yet. But I have my hopes set high considering how few posts there are about defects. Maybe Nike is finally stepping up their quality control.

I guarantee resale prices increase once the deadstock pairs start becoming scarce. I don't care either way, just glad to easily add another classic to my collection.

The worst defects I've seen are slightly mis-aligned NA heel branding, a little pre-creasing in some of the toe boxes, and a few small Es. No huge glue stains. Nothing major.
Getting these the other day reminded me how a bunch of us complained back in '06-'07 during that V run about how the soles on the Grapes, Fire Red 23s, and first black/metallic 23s were coming pre-yellowed. I'd rather have the blueish tint on these all day than the pre-yellowing.

I don't think Playoff XIs and Taxi XIIs were made at the same volume as these. How many of these were made, 300k? 500k?
