Hated the DMP for obvious reasons, and hated the 2012 pair because it was all black and all one material. And are 02's wearable without nubuck/durabuck rubbing off like on the 2000 infrareds?

I like the 2002's & 2012's also, but the DMP's are the closest to the OG's IMO.

 The the 2002's were marvelous though, & the shape & height....

Then again, in some OG pics, the OG's & 2002's look identical.

It must be due to the age of the durabuck, & nubuck on OG pairs. Either way, all of the retros were not done exactly right. I still like them all though.

They're straight up Black/Concord/White this time around.

That's exactly what it is, and that's why the 2002 version got it closest. The DMPs jumped right into a time machine and came out of the box looking like the originals and '02s do after they've aged.

It could depend on the lighting in the pic. The tongue on the top shoe looks satin-y and that's how the 2016 tongues are supposed to look. To me, this pair looks legit.

Not necessarily. If no flash was used, the bottom shoe could just be catching the light a certain way to make it look that way.

Nike equates luxury to their price point and net profits.
We the consumer equate luxury to price and excellent craftsmanship.

With that being said, if this shoe has any flaws I'm calling whoever I purchased it from and demanding a discount code or a gift card.
Some of yall dudes been making them pay for BS quality for a while now.

It's Durabuck and he must be confused because these never had 3M on the side of the shoes.
