Really appreciate you stating this, it took a lot of courage. Another question is what IVs have been comfortable (besides original 1989 release)? My guava union, metallics, lightening and cool grey arent too bad compared to these and several others. I still think IV and XI (besides original release and IEs) are the two most uncomfortable models
How difficult would it be to put zoom in da heel?

I would want an accurate retro of the “bling blings” not the pure moneys. I used to like green glows but those are an easy pass for me.

You ironed the toe?
Was thinking about doing it to my pair did it change up the fit any? These are already kind of uncomfortable IMO.

Yeah bro I just ironed the toe box to reshape it. Mine was really boxy. It actually gives you a little bit more room sizing wise. But yeah these joints is mad uncomfortable

I can't wait for these to come back with the new cut and shape. Granted whenever they do come back they'll likely be reimagined but still. Hopefully at worst they'll just have pre-aged midsoles and that's it.

This was such a tragic release. Had always wanted the FRs but never owned a pair. Tried buying a DS pair of the Mars B version back then on eBay but they came in worn and stinky and the seller was lame and I had to open a case to get a refund.
I got two pairs of these on RD to mix and match. Left shoe had an amazing toe box shape; right shoe not so much but decent. Sold one immediately. Ultimately sold my pair earlier this year. Looked so good in hand, but not quite right on foot, and weren't comfortable, so I was rarely inclined to wear them.
Unfortunately, as noted the next release will likely be reimagined. If it's like the WC3 I could be in; if it's like the BM5s, I'd be out. These need a straight up retro with the updated shape and SB4 comfort. Now THAT I could get excited for.

They do need a redo but f it, I need to just start wearing mine. Ironed the toes when I got them on release day so they look halfway ok. Not comfy but whatever. OGs were first Jordans I ever had. So I won’t ever sell this retro pair till they come back with a better version.
