Black metallics definitely will be because of the $220 price tagI sure hope the French Blue 12s, Black/Red 12s, and Metallic 5s thread aren't as bad as this one during and after release date. :x

imo...this was a hype release for Jb to cash in on...there goal for this shoe was to make as many as possible and spend the least amount doing it...bin23's are dope along with any jordan shoe with premium leather.None of them really look like they've been used. Some have wrinkles in certain parts perhaps due to careless handling or shipping somewhere along the way.
The involvement of traditional European fashion houses with sneakers is a fairly recent thing. I think that what they collectively produce has set really unrealistic expectations for many people on what to expect from regular mainstream sportswear brands. I mention this because of the higher prices. I've seen some comments were people say they would rather spend a little more and buy a limited or high end sneaker. In the mid 2000s Nike put out crocodile/anaconda AF1s for $2k each. It was kind of bizarre seeing uptowns with this leather in NTNY. Even with the quality, they were still uptowns and just put off this "I spent $2k on an $80 shoe because I can" vibe. No matter what they put on an AF1 it's not going to be a dress shoe. Jordans were never meant to be something like that. They had the bin23 series and here you have something trying to be something it's not. Street wear mimicking high fashion. Sneakers have become more & more acceptable in environments in which they were previously disapproved of like jeans made the move from strictly workwear to casual use. Now this is turning into a rant lol. Basically I'm saying Js are what they are. They never were a luxurious, upscale shoe, but rather the most stylish & creative ones to ever be on the hardwood. Yes, QC is better on the originals and you can clearly see that (compare this to the XXX) but at that time there were just a few Jordan releases a year, not one every week or two. You can also debate the change from Taiwan to China. 20-30 years ago most clothing among other stuff was being produced in Hong Kong & Taiwan, territories which arguably have higher standards overall.
none of those shoes have smooth leather on them, Jb has good tumbled leather and nubuck so it should be a good release unless they use the same suede nubuck from before. Jb is screwing themselves every time they use wack material...Black metallics definitely will be because of the $220 price tag

Either return them or find a good shoe repair joint.

They're a better investment than most stocks these days and you won't have to pay taxes on the profit if you decide to sell them down the line.I honestly don't wear Jordans much anymore. I just buy them to collect unfortunately.
