Only because of Drake though. If that shoe had nothing to do with Drake I don't think it would do so well. I have to admit he is one of the top 5 most influential artists of this generation.

Masters sold out without any celebrity tag on it, just being a black based shoe, I think the black OVO 10s would sell out as well as a GR with or without drake's tag on it. Them the cream/gold color way is just super clean to me so I know I would've been in for a pair

There's no way to tell if they would've sold out without the ovos, and black yeezys being sold recently. All black shoes used to sit. They were "too plain." Anything black will obviously move now. Aren't some NYC 10s supposed to be dropping soon?

Sneaker culture is definitely spreading, and I'm sure some new consumers do educate themselves before jumping into the game. I will say that up here in Canada where I'm at, sneaker culture is MUCH smaller then it is down in the States. I'm just talking about your average consumer that needs a pair of shoes, goes to footlocker, sees the jumpman logo on a pair that's been sitting on the wall, and buys them. There are lots of people like that out there. For the most part, those are the people that are buying the releases that sit, alongside sneakerheads that buy what they like. If even a small percentage of those people become sneakerheads, thats a win for JB, even if those releases have to be discounted in order to move.

They will sell out here for sure. I'm not really feeling them but might just cop to represent my city. Depends on when they drop and what else is coming out around the same time.

Where is the OG city pack.... Much more sought after then any retro of the 10s.... JB holding these to keep hype going for the next 30..... Releasing one at a time will insure the brand stays alive....
