Lol yeah I get what you guys mean it's just when I see a restock I just be hoping it's something from awhile back instead of recent kicks especially if they sat or been sitting in stores still. Not saying the WC sat here

It doesn't really matter. At some point all PU midsoles will crumble. There nothing you can do to stop it.This is going to sound od.. But has anyone ever measured humidity in where they store their shoes? Does anyone have a number on a good humidity level that these should be stored at for long term? (I'm like hyper vigilant to this now after some of my stuff started showing surface rust in my shop out of no where lol adding to the deadstock syndrome)

That's why I no longer collect Js. Why collect something that can't be preserved in its original condition? Just wear them peops!
I remember back in 1989 you could walk into any shoe store and find the Jordan IV in stock in every size. You could actually try them on for size. You didn't have people that only bought them to profit by reselling. People only bought them for the pure joy of wearing them. And yet, they were still special and no less desirable to me than now. I long for those days and hopefully we are getting closer to that situation than before. As a shareholder and consumer, I hope Nike pursues the strategy of raising supply to sufficiently meet demand.just don't want it to lose like that special value when it drops 30 some times in less than a year like the breds did I loved it but once it's was in so many restocks I was like man it doesn't feel special anymore. Why would it matter to you? You don't have to buy the additional pairs.
I completely agree with this and the last post above me. I meant availability like supply healthily meeting all demand. Like how you can just go to the store and buy and iPhone or wait a week or a paycheck to get it.. Try it out at the store.. Have more than 1/8th of a second to complete your purchase etc.you only feel like this because you have your pair. There some that still want their. Personally I'm good with my 5 ......but I'm glad they are making plenty for the masses.just don't want it to lose like that special value when it drops 30 some times in less than a year like the breds did I loved it but once it's was in so many restocks I was like man it doesn't feel special anymore.
this... but i dont have 5 tho
people worried about them being available are just showing their true colors AND are short sighted. if you really like the shoes then it wont matter how many pairs are floating around and buying GR shoes means you arent exclusive any way you slice it.
heck, i WISH they pop up a million times and start sitting so that i can start scheming on getting them below retail
These became less special to me when I saw a child born in 2002 with the Odell/nsync frosted tips that possibly never touched an analog basketball in his life with these on. That being said I wish they had the same level of availability as air Max 90s so I could just reup as needed as opposed to loading up and rationing like a doomsday prepper. That exclusivity mindset is no bueno..
the thing is, these are probably more available than the am90s and stuff... its just that they are much more popular so they are selling while giving the appearance of being less available i guess.

Right, just PU midsoles that I mentioned. I've always wished Nike could remaster the PU midsole Js to non-PU midsoles somehow. How awesome would that be? Sure it might be heavier, but I'd take that tradeoff anyday.not all Js crumble. for example, the 1s, 7s, 11s, 12s, 13s at the min are solid. may just need glue over.It doesn't really matter. This Wired article on the issue is a must read.
everyone can't be pleased in this world no matter how JB makes the shoe someone is going to inspect it with a fine tooth comb and find something they just don't like about itwho makes a bigger deal about og, teens or old heads?
in my time on nt i notice that the old cats complain about nonsense like nike air and young cats complain more about defects
Members ages should be displayed under their screenname.
May be not the exact age, but at least have it catorgorized.
The catogories I.e. should be something like...
-Fresh off the tit
-still living off parents strength
-Finally got out on my own
-Ive been established
-about to collect that pension
-To damn old to be wearing this

Think im just gonna keep my second pair. Screw it waited too long for um and i dont double up no more but ill make an exception for these and black cement iv...
Any tips to get rid of ankle area creasing ?? My right pair has it and my left doesn't , no big deal but If there's a fix for it than that could be nice
once leather creases, it never really goes away especially if the creases are caused by wear.
This thread was headed down that same path until steve got axed. That bordeaux thread was pure comedy. Dudes startin petitions and all.
